How to write content an AI will actually quote
The fastest way to get quoted by AI isn't more words — it's better structure. Say the answer first, prove it, and make it easy to lift. Here's the shape.
Lead with the answer
Open each section by stating the answer in one plain sentence, then explain. An AI (and a busy human) decides in the first line whether you're worth quoting. Warm-up paragraphs bury the very thing you want repeated.
Make headings real questions
Write H2s the way people actually ask — “what does it cost?”, “how long does it take?” — so your page matches the prompt. Then answer immediately beneath. It reads naturally and maps cleanly to FAQ schema.
Prove it, keep it tidy
Back claims with a number, a source, or an example. Keep paragraphs short and scannable. A little personality is great — just never at the cost of clarity, because a quoted fragment has to stand on its own.
