DigiVino AI Policy
DigiVino uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools in our work and on this website. This page explains how, in plain terms. We update it when our tools or our practices change, and the version and date above tell you which one you are reading.
How does DigiVino use AI in client work?
- We use AI tools for drafting, research, analysis and code.
- Our practice is that a person on the team reviews AI-assisted work before it goes to a client or goes live.
- Our practice is to keep high-stakes decisions with people: finances, legal matters and the infrastructure our clients depend on. AI helps with the work around those decisions, not the decisions themselves.
What happens to client data?
- We use business versions of AI tools whose terms say inputs are not used to train their models.
- We work to keep clients’ confidential information out of consumer AI tools.
- Where a client has stricter requirements of their own, theirs apply.
Where does this website use AI?
The AI Visibility Check. When you run a check, we send your business name, website and city to OpenAI, Google and Perplexity to get their answers. We use the versions these companies offer to developers: OpenAI’s GPT-5.4 mini, Google’s Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite and Perplexity’s Sonar, so results can differ from what you see in the ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity apps. None of the three trains on what we send. OpenAI keeps it for up to 30 days and Google for a limited period to watch for abuse; Perplexity keeps nothing. DigiVino does not store what you enter.
Ask Vera. Vera’s answers are written by the DigiVino team. When you ask her something, she picks the answer that best fits your question and points you to the articles behind it. No AI model writes her replies on the spot, so everything she tells you is something we have written and checked.
Do we tell people when something is AI?
- We label the AI features on this site as AI.
- We do not publish AI-written reviews or testimonials, and we do not present AI-written text as a real person’s experience.
How does the team keep up?
Through ongoing training, because the tools change every few months. The recurring topics are where AI tools make things up, where bias creeps into an answer, and how security risks arrive through tools people trust.
What if something is wrong?
Tell us at [email protected] or (423) 415-1368. If a result from the AI Visibility Check or an answer from Vera looks wrong, we would rather hear about it than not.
