Van Potts
"Create the demand. Clear the obstacles. Close the deal."
Van helps boutique businesses do exactly that, well beyond the sales pitch.
A master at making sales happen, he looks at the whole business, including the often-overlooked parts that affect sales, and builds the strategy from there: how it's positioned, who it should be selling to, and what has to change for interest to become revenue.
He founded Preston-Layne & Partners, an independent firm, in 2003 and leads it as president. Before that, he was VP of Marketing & Sales at Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery, and earlier built his career at Johnson & Johnson, Dow Chemical and Alcon Laboratories. He graduated from the University of Kansas.
What Van does with DigiVino
DigiVino gets a business found in Google and in answer engines such as ChatGPT. Van's focus is what happens next: turning that attention into sales.
He and Pamela Snyder are co-hosting a new podcast, coming soon, on how independent businesses get found, run more efficiently, and keep more of the value they create.
