Wine Business Sustainability Pro Leslie Caplan

Leslie provides DigiVino’s clients with the essentials of wine business sustainability. She leads projects in corporate social responsibility (CSR) reports, carbon calculators, wine sustainability certification application processes as well as helping our clients to promote their wine business sustainability efforts. She also crafts beautiful copy (writing that is) leveraging her former career as an environmental attorney. Leslie is a proven sustainability proponent who simultaneously understands the challenges of owning and successfully running a business, while keeping customers happy and sales flowing. To this end, to highlight a few of her accomplishments, she used a data-centered approach to persuade the City of San Francisco and the University of California to implement innovative storm and wastewater treatment and preventing millions of gallons of sewage overflow to the Bay. Later, she worked with technical experts and scientists to help write the regulations for California’s Clean Cars law, the first in the US regulating greenhouse gas emitted from vehicle tailpipes. Leslie holds a BA in International Relations from the College at University of Pennsylvania, a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a JD from University of California’s Hastings College of Law and an MBA from Presidio Graduate School of Sustainable Management.
